A SERIOUS gas leak occurred late last year at Perenco’s environmentally sensitive Wytch Farm onshore oilfield close to Poole Harbour in Dorset as workers were carrying out maintenance, Upstream can reveal.
A total of 352 kilogrammes of gas escaped in the incident, which happened on 11 December during work on gas drying equipment at the oilfield’s gathering station, near Corfe Castle.
