The recent reshuffling of gas assets under Rosneft’s control has led the company to declare that the growth will be mostly organic, rather then via the acquisition of new assets.
According to Rosneft vice president Vlada Rusakova, the 2020 target will be achieved through production of 47 Bcm per annum of gas from assets already under development by the company.
The remaining 53 Bcm per annum will be sourced at greenfields that will come online in the next six years.
