Oil & Gas UK (OGUK) chief executive Deirdre Michie said bumper fiscal incentives unveiled at Budget 2015 by UK Chancellor George Osborne had helped beleaguered North Sea operators.
Michie said: “It was very welcome. It did unlock projects ... but — if this sounds facetious it is not meant to be — that was so last year. The situation has fundamentally changed since then.”
