Shell and Chevron are gearing up to start debottlenecking work on a section of the Amberjack pipeline to accommodate flows from the deep-water Gulf of Mexico, a network that includes the Lower Tertiary Jack St Malo development.
The work, due to start in the coming months, will focus on a 30-mile (48-kilometre) stretch of pipeline that runs between the Shell-operated Boxer platform in Green Canyon Block 19 and South Timbalier Block 301.
