Rudd, along with Treasury and Oil & Gas Authority officials, held meetings recently with senior bankers lending to North Sea companies, she said during a visit to Aberdeen this week.
“We reiterated that we are confident in the future of the UK continental shelf and urged lenders to continue their support,” she told delegates to Oil & Gas UK’s annual conference.
