SembMarine is selling its 30% interest in Cosco to China Ocean Shipping Company, another unit of the yard group’s parent Cosco Corporation, for a consideration of around S$220.68 million ($156.1 million), having acquired it in 2004, according to a statement.
The seller will realise a net gain from the deal of about S$48.32 million over the carrying value of the investment of S$180.10
