The company said it has previously drilled the Cerulean-1 and Cerulean-2 core holes in Block ATP 854P and successfully intersected gas in the deeper Permian Bandanna coals.
Following the three-well campaign, Blue plans to drill at least one pilot later in the year leading to gas reserves certification in early 2010.
