The company is qualifying contractors to supply an FSO of between 22,000 and 24,000 deadweight tonnes for Camar, located on the Bawean block in the East Java Sea.
Oil production at Camar restarted in the second quarter of 2007 after being shut in for almost three years.
Late last year, Indonesia’s upstream regulator BPMigas recommended to the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources that the Bawean contract term be extended.
