Air crash investigators last week released new information about the final moments of the doomed CHC Helicopter-operated aircraft, which left four of the 18 people on board dead.
The UK Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) said flight data analysis showed the position of the helicopter’s nose, low airspeed, high rate of descent and high power caused it to enter a dangerous “vortex ring” state.
