Norway’s Golar LNG expects the newbuild Golar Nanook floating storage and regasification unit to arrive in Brazilian waters in early 2019 in preparation to operate on a large project off the country’s north-east coast, writes Fabio Palmigiani.
Golar LNG took delivery of the FSRU on 27 September at Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard, after concluding a $235.5 million funding operation with the China Construction Bank Financing Leasing.
