OPINION: Climate change protesters in London are getting bolder in their tactics — and in their demands.

Before dawn Monday, members of Greenpeace descended on BP’s headquarters in St James’s Square, blocking entry to the building with five heavy containers, each holding a couple of protesters and enough supplies to last them at least a week.

Their demands? That the UK supermajor immediately halt all new oil and gas exploration, invest only in renewable energy, or “wind down its operations entirely and go out of business”.
