The Joe oil discovery on the Orinduik block off Guyana is potentially “even more important” than the earlier Jethro find on the same tract after the block partners opened up an entirely new play in one of the world's hottest basins, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
“I think it is even more exciting,” Gil Holzman, chief executive of junior block partner Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas, told Upstream after operator Tullow oil revealed its second discovery on the block in a little over a month.
