The first of the vessels will enter service in March 2012 to support subsea and remotely operated vehicle activities, Toisa and Sealion said in a statement today.
The 87-metre long vessels will each be equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning capability, as well as a 70-tonne subsea crane and a five-tonne general purpose crane. Each vessel will have berths for 60 crew and main deck area of 925 square metres.
