Operator AWE revealed on Tuesday the rig had completed and suspended the Pateke-4H well on PMP 38158 and would now head to the Oi-1 location, about 12 kilometres north-east of the producing Tui field.
Joint venture partner Pan Pacific Petroleum (PPP) has previously stated Oi could contain potential mean recoverable resources of 15 million barrels and have a similar structural style and the same reservoir target as the Tui fields.
