The explorer said on Wednesday that it plans to start drilling next year, as it recently had four of its core southern licences renewed by the government.
As part of this renewal, BPC has to commence a first exploration well by April 2017, it said, and is now seeking to introduce an industry partner to the project to share in technical execution and funding.
