Drilling at the Marsden-1 well had reached 1908 metres of a planned total depth of 2640 metres before drilling was suspended on 5 March following the closure of access roads as a result of heavy rain.
In an announcement, Strike Energy said the well was expected to reach total depth in between 15 and 20 days, with coal intervals in the Toolachee and Patchawarra formations and the Murteree shale to be cored.
