The Ensign-30 rig spudded the Haslam-1 well on 20 March, targeting wet gas in the Patchawarra formation in close proximity to other discoveries on the licence area.
Drilling of the well, located about 4.6 kilometres south-west of the Middleton-1 Wet Gas field, is expected to take between 14 days and 18 days – with the well set to reach a depth of 2828 metres.
