Canada’s Bellatrix Exploration has entered into an agreement with a Toronto-listed player TransGlobe Energy to sell certain non-core assets in the greater Harmattan area of Alberta for C$80 million (US$60.1 million).
Under the deal, TransGlobe will acquire Bellatrix-owned Cardium light oil and Mannville liquid-rich gas assets, as well as all production volumes associated with the acreage.
TransGlobe will also take over operatorship of the majority of assets, it said.
