BJ said the 12-month contract included casing and tubing running, completion assembly and onshore bucking services for five well workovers, and one new well on the Baobab and Espoir Fields.
The company said work would start in January aboard the semi-submersible rig Homer Ferrington, operating in water depths up to 4000 metres.
BJ said the contract would be serviced from its base in the Ivorian capital Abidjan.
