Under the deal, valued at at least 2 billion Czech koruna ($98.5 million) over three years, MND Group will acquire 50% stakes in three Georgian subsidiaries, Ninotsminda Oil, CanAgro (Nazvrevi) and CanAgro Norio and their three respective licences.
The Ninotsminda licence has produced 210 million barrels of crude to date, while the Norio and Manavi licences have appraisal activities planned, according to Blake Oil & Gas.
