Boskalis was awarded the work by Saipem, which is responsible for the pipelay of a new 42-inch deep sea natural gas pipeline for the liquefied natural gas project, including a portion to run through Darwin Harbour.
The company will dredge an 18 kilometre pipeline trench for the gas pipeline as well as carrying out a pipe-pull over a distance of about 3000 metres.
