The six Russians and one Estonian were snatched from the anchor-handling tug supply unit Bourbon Liberty 249 on Monday.
Nine other crew members are still onboard the vessel and are "safe and sound, and in good health", Bourbon added. The vessel is proceeding to the Nigerian port of Onne, though Bourbon did not mention if it was doing so under its own power or under escort from a naval vessel.
