Videos posted at www.restorethegulf.org show the wellhead calm and uninterrupted, with no signs of the plumes of oil that were prominent on the "spill cam" shown to the public last summer.
"These visual wellhead inspections, conducted on 25 and 26 August confirmed that there is no release of oil from either well and that both wells are secure," the website said.
