The Houston-based outfit is getting its hands on two Joy company divisions which the latter only recently snapped up from US drilling contractor giant Rowan in a $1.1 billion deal.
Wednesday's announced deal for LeTourneau Technologies Drilling Systems and the Offshore Products divisions of Joy is an all-cash deal worth $375 million, Cameron stated.
The boards of both companies have signed off on the proposed deal which is expected to be sealed in the fourth quarter.
