Houston-based Castex Energy has carried out a successful production test at the Hummer discovery in the US Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Louisiana.
Well partner Petsec Energy revealed Tuesday the Hummer discovery well had flowed at an average rate of nearly 19.9 million cubic feet of gas per day and 396 barrels of condensate per day during a 48-hour test.
