CNOOC starts up Ledong 22-1

Gas is flowing at about 30,000 cubic feet from five wells, according to CNOOC.

LD 22-1 is about 47 kilometres east of producing Yacheng 13-1 and 20 kilometres west of LD 15-1 gas field.

LD 22-1 is jointly developed with LD 15-1. The major development facilities of LD22-1 include an eight-legged platform and 13 production wells. LD 15-1 will draw oil from eight wells via an eight-legged platform.
