Adelaide-based Cooper Energy is nearing the completion of the front-end engineering and design work on its Sole gas field in the Gippsland basin off the coast of Victoria.
Managing director David Maxwell confirmed on Monday the company was preparing to make a final investment decision on the offshore gas project as FEED work draws to a close.
“We will be busy in the coming months as the various workstreams for the Sole gas project are completed and coalesce into an affirmative final investment decision,” he said.
