The German operator had earlier this year seen its application to extend the 2 August deadline rejected by the Petroleum & Energy Ministry, which had also warned Dea it could have its licence rights revoked unless it met the target date.
However, the ministry has now apparently relented and granted an extension of the submission date to 3 October, according to news site Offshore.no.
