Norwegian contractor Aker Solutions will deliver christmas trees while UK-based Subsea will provide services to hook up fresh resources to be exploited as tiebacks to the North Sea field’s floating production, storage and offloading vessel, chief executive Karl Johnny Hersvik was quoted as saying by news site E24 at an investor presentation this week.

There could also be further pickings in sight for contractors, with the operator eyeing development of new prospects as it seeks to take advantage of relatively low supplier rates for drilling and other services, driven down by depressed oil prices, to achieve economical projects.
