Up to 300 firefighters have been battling to douse the blaze for the past week.
The Dikon-15 well was damaged last Tuesday, allowing oil and gas to escape. The gas ignited on Thursday afternoon.
A team of specialists from US outfit Boots & Coots International Well Control is also at the site but has failed so far to bring the fire under control.
