The Turkmenistan-focused company earned $386.1 million in 2010, versus $259 million for the previous year, on revenue of $780.4 million, a 25% increase year-on-year.

Dragon’s profits were beefed up by stronger oil prices in 2010 as its oil production increased 5.5% to 47,211 barrels per day.

The company said it plans to pay a maiden full-year dividend of 14 cents per share, reflecting its strong financial position and future cash generation abilities.
