Under the terms of the agreement, Namcor has granted EnerGulf an option for up to 25% of the state company's interest in offshore Block 1711.
Block 1711 is situated in the Namibe basin off the northern coast of Namibia.
Two separate exploration prospects, the Kunene and Hartmann prospects, have been identified by extensive seismic data on the 8931-square kilometre block.
