InterOil said over the weekend that Finlayson would join the board immediately and replace current chairman Gaylen Byker, who is retiring after 17 years on the board,“after an appropriate handover”.
Finlayson joins Interoil as it moves towards the development of its Elk-Antelope fields in Papua New Guinea where it plans to build a liquefied natural gas plant with its partners Total and Oil Search.
