The assets lie in Howard County. Additional details were not immediately clear, but Finley last year was reported to have put around 11,300 net acres in Howard County on the market. The assets included 24 vertical wells producing 250 barrels of oil equivalent per day and reserves of 1.5 million boe, according to a PLS report.
Corpus Christi-based Sabalo has operations in the Eagle Ford and Permian basin plays in Texas and also holds interests in the Tuscaloosa Marine shale and the Woodbine.
