GMX, which has an 89% interest in the Lange 11-30-1H well, said the well reached a measured depth of 20,519 feet with a lateral length of 9348 feet.
Company president Michael Rohleder said the company would continue to focus on the region.
“The Lange's initial rate is more than 50% greater than the rate that was reported on our non-operated Taboo well, which is a direct offset to the Lange,” he said.
