Fugro will use one of its ROVs to supply drilling support and intervention tooling support for the development in the northern part of the North Sea.
The standard drilling support element of the contract will begin this month on the semi-submersible Ocean Guardian.
No value or term was put on the contract by Fugro.
Diamond Offshore Drilling revealed in November that it had tied up the Ocean Guardian on a one-year charter in the UK North Sea starting in March at $220,000 a day, but did not disclose the client.
