The two companies signed a heads of agreement earlier this month that would have seen Green Rock spend up to A$3.6 million (US$3.7 million) to pursue the farm-in.
But the company told the Australian Securities Exchange today it had received firm commitments for a minimum of A$3.2 million enabling it to acquire the stake as well as pursuing other hydrocarbons and geothermal projects.
