The contract with companies including Shell, BP and others for well intervention work on their North Sea fields is due to expire on 3 September and no contract for the vessel has yet been signed for next year, Island chief executive Haavard Ulstein told Upstream.
“There were no options to renew the existing contract and we are therefore working on new contract opportunities,” he said.
