Market sources said one of the jackets, a 5800-tonne structure for the wellhead platform, is on a fast-track schedule to allow the operator to carry out pre-drilling activities while the remaining structures need to be delivered up to one year later.
The only firm part of the proposed contract is understood to be the wellhead jacket.
A 7000-tonne sub-structure for the riser platform and a 3300-tonne jacket for the accommodation platform are options within the contract, industry sources told Upstream.
