The workscope covers verification of the topsides on all four platforms to be installed under the first phase of the North Sea field development.
The Norwegian classification outfit will also verify three of the four jackets, three bridges and topsides installation by Allseas’ heavy-lift vessel Pioneering Spirit.
The first phase of Sverdrup, being developed at a cost of Nkr108.5 billion by operator Statoil and its partners, is due on stream in the fourth quarter of 2019.
