Statoil and Gassco will have to implement new safety measures at their Kaarsto gas and condensate processing plant after Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) found several “non-conformities” at the facility.
The PSA carried out an audit of major accident risk and electrical plant at Kaarsto, located in Rogaland county on Norway's west coast, last November.
The purpose of the audit was to assess the activities undertaken at the plant to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
