Keppel said the rig was capable of drilling high temperature/high pressure wells to depths of up to 30,000 feet in water up to 350 feet deep.
The yard delivered the first jack-up, Maersk Resilient, in February 2008, and the rig is currently working for Dubai Petroleum Establishment. The second rig, Maersk Resolute, was handed over in August 2008 and has been contracted to Dong Energy in the Danish North Sea over three years.
