The company said that the field had reserves of about 10 billion cubic feet of gas and would be linked to the other two offshore fields, including the producing Donghae field, through a planned pipeline, reported Dow Jones.

Donghae has reserves of about 250 Bcf and currently produces about 50 million cubic feet of gas per day.

The second field was discovered early last year and KNOC has estimated that it holds reserves of about 25 Bcf.
