Subsea 7 is also the most active contractor in the UK marketthis year although rival Technip has won the most contracts in the past threeand a half years, the report from the Energy Industries Council (EIC) read.
EIC said there are currently 136 projects proposed or underdevelopment on the UK continental shelf worth a potential $87.8 billion ininvestment. From January 2010 to July this year there were 194 major projectscomprising front-end engineering and design, engineering, procurement andconstruction as well as subsea umbilical, riser and flowline contracts.
