EnQuest’s Kraken development off the UK remains on track for first oil in the second quarter with the field's floating production, storage and offloading vessel arriving in the North Sea.
EnQuest revealed the milestone in an operational update on Tuesday, adding the project also remained under budget.
The FPSO set sail from Singapore towards the end of last year and is designed to handle 460,000 barrels per day of fluids with 275,000 barrels per day of water-injection capacity, with storage capacity of 600,000 barrels.
