Martin Landro is a professor of Applied Geophysics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. He has previously worked for several research foundations and Statoil.

Time-lapse seismic, or 4D seismic, allows oil companies to compare seismic studies over time to see how reservoirs are drained over a field’s production life.
