MEO acquired 100% of the PSC in June last year through a deal with US-based Transworld Exploration, with MEO chief executive Jurgen Hendrich saying the company had since received a number of unsolicited expressions of interest.
The PSC contains three distinct project areas – including the Gurame discovery which has five existing wells and wide-ranging 3D seismic data, with hydrocarbons encountered in the Keutapang, Baong and Belumai reservoirs.
