While careful not to call out Donald Trump by name, Francisco Salazar, who heads Mexico's national committee at the World Energy Council, said industrial users had flagged up their worries about a potential change in the US administration in a survey.
"One of the concerns of most leaders was there could be a change of policy," he told the La Jolla Energy Conference last week.
