According to Talisman Sinopec, the 10,500 tonnes topsides have left the yard on Monday and will now make a short stop off Schiedam, west of Rotterdam, for the installation and commissioning of an 80-tonne pedestal crane and the attachment of the upper sections of the exhaust stacks.
This will then be followed, at the end of April, by a 430 nautical miles journey to the Montrose field, located on Block 22/17, off Aberdeen, the company said.
