In a separate incident, a pipeline belonging to state-owned Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) was reportedly blown up on Thursday evening.
The NDA said it was behind the bombing of the Obi Obi Brass trunkline in Bayelsa state at around 3am local time on Friday. It said the line belongs to Eni's Nigerian subsidiary Agip.
Reuters reported on Friday that NPDC's pipeline at Sanomi Creek around the Ogidigben area of Warri South West was blown up around 8pm local time on Thursday, citing a security official and a community leader.
